Black Mountain Ski Lodge & Motel is the perfect place for an action-packed Adirondack summer vacation or a quiet winter ski getaway.

In the Winter, we are just a few minutes from Gore Mountain! With it's 2100 vertical feet and variety of terrain, Gore can please the novice skiier and challenge the downhill expert. Terrific cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing are local as well. To get you started each day, we serve breakfast in our private dining room. After an exhilarating day of activity, relax by the fire, and enjoy delicious desserts upon request.

For the Summer, Black Mountain is close to Rafting, Cycling, Fishing, Climbing, as well as a variety of hiking trails for every level of enthusiast! The serene Siamese Ponds Wilderness area and the Thunderous Hudson River Gorge are just a short drive away! The rafting season starts the first weekend of April and will end Columbus Day. The Hudson River Gorge is one of the most action packed single day rafting adventures in America with continuous rapids of Class III and Class II as the river drops 650 feet.
